Bordelaise brings the relaxed charm of a classic French bistro with the quintessential South West London warmth.

Marking the third chapter for this experienced team, Bordelaise Surbiton brings the confidence of a neighbourhood steakhouse. They've followed a decade-long venue in Tooting and a more recent opening in Ewell, they now present the excellence of Bordelaise to Surbiton.

Open with French favourites such as onion soup finished with gratin cheese and toast, or escargots baked in persillade butter, lighter options follow with a vegan quinoa salad mixed with kale, mint, chilli, almonds and lemon, or a hearty steak Caesar dressed with anchovy and parmesan.

Mains are comforting and assured, from a homemade confit duck leg served over a white bean and bacon casserole, to truffled rigatoni with wild mushrooms and parmesan, the grill takes centre stage with onglet steak and rib eye, best paired with beef dripping fries or a silky dauphinoise potato, alongside a traditional roast offering that rounds out the menu beautifully.

Bordelaise Surbiton is a welcoming place to settle in, enjoy excellent cooking and linger a little longer.
