Pique Gosforth brings a vibrant slice of South America to Gosforth, Newcastle, blending exotic South American flavours with expertly crafted drinks in an intimate, eclectic setting. It's the kind of place that promises a departure from the ordinary, whether for a date night or a special celebration.

On the plate, the kitchen moves between coastal freshness and grill-fired indulgence. Bright, citrus-kissed ceviches might see cod tiradito lifted by lime, aji amarillo, coriander, red onion and avocado, or scallop set against strawberry, cucumber and elderflower.

From the streets of Lima come anticuchos - marinated chicken with aji verde, or pork belly and pineapple skewers with a chilli honey dip. Vegetarian small plates keep pace, from crispy corn fritters to house nachos piled with lime sour cream, guacamole and jalapeño salsa.

Oysters get playful with red pepper aioli or chilli and finger lime, while larger plates invite sharing - whole baked sea bass with Argentine salsa criolla, and a rack of ribs lacquered in aji panca and honey.

Sides bring comfort with mac and cheese threaded with yellow chilli and crispy onions, and steamed greens glossed in chipotle butter.

To finish, think pistachio Basque cheesecake or Chilean hot chocolate and churros. With warm hospitality, bespoke menus, and a private dining space for up to 18 guests, Pique makes every visit feel immersive.

Guests can reserve a spot, sip, savour and let South America do the talking.
