In London, Zum Barbarossa brings a cosmopolitan spirit, pairing a cocktail-first sensibility with considered small plates. The menu nods to London and Amsterdam in equal measure, signalling a house style that prizes precision, playfulness and balance across the glass and the plate.

Signatures lean bold yet polished: the hot honey highball threads sweet heat with a floral tonic sparkle, while a banana and pineapple daiquiri delivers tropical lift and a banana leaf flourish. A section marked From Amsterdam tips the hat with a zespresso martini where white chocolate softens espresso bite, and a Dutch G and T brightened by orange and basil. Those swerving alcohol are well served too, from forest’s spiced apple and ginger to a breezy strawberry spritz.

To graze, Japanese-leaning plates keep pace with the drinks: silky tuna tataki with wakame, soy ginger and sesame glaze, and a marinated beef teriyaki skewer built for one more round. The experience encourages lingering, sharing and conversation as flavours unfold. Book a table, settle into the flow, and let Zum Barbarossa show its mettle—one sip, one bite, one very happy palate at a time.
