Mon Plaisir, London's oldest French restaurant, delivers a truly authentic French dining experience. As you step inside, you are immediately enveloped by a French atmosphere emphasized by original French artefacts and thick French accents from the staff. The restaurant offers diverse dining settings: from the 1940's decor of the original dining room to the contemporary style of 'Next Door', and the intimate ambiance of the upstairs mezzanine, ensuring a unique experience in each of its four rooms.

Start your meal with a selection of snacks, such as the panier de pain with french butter or some roasted mixed nuts. For starters, enjoy classic French fare like green asparagus with hollandaise or fresh mussels in white wine and cream.

Continue your French journey with a selection of fish and meat dishes. Try the pan-seared cod with dauphinoise potatoes or the sea bass with sweet potato purée and crispy kale. For meat lovers, indulge in the slow-cooked beef cheek with mashed potatoes or the rib-eye steak with béarnaise sauce.

If you're after something a little lighter, opt for one of Mon Plaisir's salads. Choose from the traditional niçoise salad, with a tuna option available, or the goat’s cheese salad with frisée, orange segments, and toasted almonds.

For plant-based options, enjoy dishes like creamy polenta with ratatouille or the vegan maccheroni with wild mushroom sauce.

With dishes to suit all appetites and tastes, Mon Plaisir is the perfect destination for a truly memorable, traditional French meal. Book a table today to secure an exceptional dining experience in the heart of Covent Garden.
