Franco Manca on Baker Street brings a taste of Italy to central London, with sourdough pizza at the heart of the experience. The meal begins with sharing plates of mixed olives, taralli, smoked almonds and warm pizza bread brushed with rosemary and garlic. Platters of grilled artichoke, butternut squash, Kalamata olives, baby plum tomatoes and classic Italian charcuterie with rocket and cheese set the scene.

Sourdough takes centre stage with a clean, simple margherita or the savoury prosciutto e funghi with roasted ham and mushrooms. Fresh, bright salads add balance, while small pots of basil pesto or Scotch bonnet chilli provide an extra lift.

Desserts are simple and indulgent, from affogato with hot espresso over vanilla gelato to a playful Nutella pizza with crushed Biscoff. Drinks include Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Italian wines, beers and a touch of limoncello.

Relaxed and sociable, it is a place to savour every bite, enjoy good conversation and let the sourdough shine.
