Above brings a sense of occasion to Newcastle City Centre, a rooftop escape with panoramic views across the skyline. By afternoon, the city unfolds below in a hush of relaxed luxury. It is a perch made for lingering, where conversation flows as easily as the scenery.

Its famous Afternoon Tea is the headliner. Freshly prepared each day, the spread balances nostalgia and indulgence: neat finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with preserves and clotted cream, and a parade of dainty cakes and pastry delights. It is classic British comfort, polished with a contemporary flourish.

To sip, expect premium teas and coffee, with the option to add a glass of Prosecco or a bright mocktail for extra sparkle. Whether marking a special occasion or simply savouring a slow afternoon, Above keeps the mood unhurried and the details considered.

Make a date for Above Afternoon Tea and let the city be your backdrop. Settle in, savour the moment, and take your afternoon to, well, above.
