Step inside Franco Manca, a slice of Naples in the heart of Manchester’s elegant King Street.
Housed in a stunning former bank building, Franco Manca blends character and charm with a warm, rustic style: pale woods, exposed brickwork, and industrial flourishes set the stage for pizza perfection. The space is dog-friendly, with plenty of al fresco seating spilling out onto lively King Street.
Here, the pizzaioli are masters of the slow rise, crafting sourdoughs fermented for 24 hours to achieve that signature chew and smoky, blistered crust. The menu is a love letter to fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced produce. Try crowd favourites like prosciutto and funghi with mozzarella and organic tomato, or the amatriciana with cured pork cheek, crispy pancetta, and pecorino romano. Both are celebrated for their bold flavours and depth of taste.
They also offer a generous spread of charcuterie and antipasti boards for the table: buffalo mozzarella, grilled artichoke, asparagus, kalamata olives, and semi-dried tomatoes, all served with fresh sourdough bread.
Vegetarians and vegans are just as spoiled for choice as the traditionalists, thanks to inventive toppings that showcase the very best ingredients.
Franco Manca is as much about atmosphere as it is about flavour. Whether it’s a lazy afternoon coffee with your four-legged friend, a quick crust fix between shops, or a lingering evening under the city lights, this is where Manchester meets Napoli, and everyone leaves happy.
