Cuisine: A La Carte, British, Seafood
Price Point: Mains from £15-£25

In historic Whitehall lies a tasty, oh-so-very-British secret. Its name is One Twenty One Two.

It's British grandeur at its finest. Think plush velvet sofas to recline in before and after dinner, dramatic drapes, heavy oak doors and contemporary touches. Cameras at the ready; you're going to want a snap outside their landmark entrance. Anyone else pretending it's their own front door? Just us?

Their menu celebrates the very best of fine British cuisine. Take your pick from outstanding Grangemoor ribeye steak or try their fresh seafood which includes a pan-fried sea bass with a fiery pepper basquise. From the vegetarian wild mushroom and sweet pea risotto to the Wagyu beef burger, there’s something to delight all sophisticated palates.

From their polished service to the intricately chosen wine list, you'll notice that at One Twenty One Two they are perfectionists in all that they do. It's not every day you come across a winner of an AA Rosette! Cheers!

Food was tasty and very well priced and the atmosphere was lovely!

We had an overall good experience.

The starter, pâté, was just okay. The mains, Sea Bream with Saffron Risotto for me and Lamb Cutlet for my wife, were beautifully flavoured, though the Sea Bream was small and the Lamb cutlet was more fat than meat. The desserts were lovely.

What put it over the edge from merely average to good were the cocktails. There was a large selection of creative cocktails and it really felt like we were getting our money’s worth with every one. Because of First Table, we felt like we could splurge on the drink and we did. The drinks make it worth repeat visits.
