Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, thirty7 is a welcoming neighbourhood restaurant and bar with a warm, old-school feel. With its wooden tables, generous booths and softly buzzing dining room, it has the easy charm of a classic bistro - somewhere to settle in for a glass of wine, a relaxed dinner, or a long evening with friends.

The kitchen takes a modern European approach, changing with the seasons and produce availability, working with British farmers, fishers and producers while remaining open to flavours and techniques from further afield.

The menu offers something for every kind of appetite, from nibbles and small plates to generous mains. You might begin with shichimi-seasoned taramasalata with furikake seaweed crisps or chorizo arancini with saffron aioli, before moving on to small plates such as a Rye Bay scallop on a bed of punalette with cauliflower, or pan-fried goat cheese with rhubarb coulis pistachio.

Larger plates bring for the more substantial appetite include - the much-loved ‘37 Burger’ with raclette, Dijon mayonnaise and peppercorn sauce, alongside dishes like slow cooked pork belly with bean cassoulet, spring greens and crackling crumble, or pan-fried hake with a kohlrabi fondant, rainbow chard and nori butter.

From the bar, hidden downstairs but well worth a visit in itself, you’ll find a signature cocktail list, alongside all your favourite classics and a wine list of 70+ bottles spanning classic regions and more adventurous picks.

While these aren’t included in the First Table discount, if you happen to book the 3–5pm sitting, you’ll land right in the middle of our happy hour, where all sparkling wines and Champagne are half price - First Table guests included. If that feels like slightly finessing the system, it is, and you should!
