Where it all began, the original Gladwin Brothers offering, bringing the fruits of the farm to Notting Hill. Welcome to The Shed, a chic taste of the British countryside with a healthy swirl of culinary innovation.

Although this is a stylish destination, the name 'The Shed' isn't far off! Indeed, tartan-covered chairs, worn wooden flooring, picnic furniture and quirky wall hangings afford this eatery plenty of soul from the countryside. Where one could easily mistake themselves for being in the heart of the Cotswold's or surrounded by the rolling hills of Yorkshire, The Shed is everything that Brits hold near and dear. Namely, an informal setting in which to enjoy great company and heartwarming, unpretentious plates.

The menu champions seasonal produce that has been foraged and locally grown. Sourced from the Gladwin farm in West Sussex, this is real farm-to-fork dining with an extra sprinkling of luxury from the modern kitchen. For starters, the appetite is kept intact with small and tasty plates like the mushroom and marmite eclairs, crispy kalette with rhubarb chutney and the spiced duck liver pâté with toast and caperberries. Packed with bold flavours, The Shed reimagines British cooking with culinary brilliance.

And onto the mains where you'll find Sussex's own roast venison with celeriac puree, Sandy and Black pork chop with a green peppercorn sauce and a whole Megrim sole with wild garlic butter sauce. And for vegetarians? A delightfully purple risotto infused with earthy beetroot and Somerset pecorino. For spectacular tastes of the British countryside and coast, visit The Shed and prepare to rethink what this exciting cuisine has to offer.
