A popular eatery that attracts foodies living in all corners of London, Patri in Hammersmith is an Indian restaurant with a strong culinary personality. Patri has several meanings in the different regional languages and the name took the founders back to their origins using “pavement”, “tracks” and “furnace” to come up with a street food menu containing all three elements.
Their starters are street food classics from the pavements of India and Pakistan. Their grills are freshly cooked in the tandoor at over 400 degrees to replicate cooking in a furnace and their curries are inspired by the railway cooks on the train journeys in India.
Patri and its team of talented chefs are experts at bringing traditional recipes to life via a unique menu that follows a round trip journey to New Delhi. The new menu will take you through Calcutta with dishes that fly off the pass at a heartbeat speed including Indo-Chinese bappa hakka and vegan ghugni chaat.
Inspired by Indian’s creative street food scene and authentic delicacies enjoyed on the country’s extensive railway network, Patri is a stylish spot that offers an authentic dining experience.
