Beneath Soho’s pavements, temper smoulders with smoke, sizzle, and spectacle.

At its core, a six-metre fire pit throws heat and theatre across the room as the team butchers and ages in-house, then charcoal-grills in full view. The mood marries raw energy with cosiness: counter seats pull diners close to the flames while green-leather booths whisper of tucked-away rendezvous.

On the plate, it is an unabashed celebration of fire and smoke, channelling global accents through a carnivorous lens. Aged cheeseburger tacos rub shoulders with cochinita pibil and blowtorched mackerel, while soft-shell crab brings a briny crunch.

Flatbreads arrive laden with beef brisket carnitas or pork rib glazed sweet and sour, scattered with herbs and Tajin. Steak remains the headliner, whether a rib-eye or sirloin, all kissed by live flame and best paired with sides that go big: beef-fat cornbread, beef-fat potatoes with garlic raclette, and a silky beef-fat béarnaise built for dunking.

Claim a seat by the pit or sink into a booth and let the smoke do the talking. Book in, bring an appetite, and prepare to meet fire with fork, Soho style.
