Throw Japan and The Philippines into a mixing bowl and what do you get? Ramo Ramen is the eatery that is dishing out the best ramen of both worlds.

Fitting into the polished aesthetic of Soho, their central branch makes simplicity its trademark, using beautifully designed elements to create clear lines and perfect symmetry. Its monochrome colour scheme amplifies this streamlined look whilst the bar cannot resist a little bit of fun with the cocktail masters at work.

Time to get your slurp on for some of the best ramen this side of London. Not ones to do things by the rulebook, they're coming forward with their own creations that include noodles in a katsu curry broth, kikurage mushrooms atop Tokyo noodles and a peanut-braised oxtail broth that has that meaty depth some only dream of.

And whilst it's in their name, ramen isn't all they do; they're also getting comfy with donburi bowls topped with black Angus bistek and fried chicken katsu. And to quench that thirst, go full Japanese with a green tea or get a little giggly with a Tokyo Iced Tea. It's deliciously sweet but devilishly naughty at the same time!
