Set in the heart of Soho, INKO NITO is a standout Japanese restaurant that blends clean, modern design with bold flavours rooted in the centuries-old art of robatayaki grilling. Created by Rainer Becker, it reimagines traditional dishes with a fresh, contemporary twist.

The stripped-back interiors echo the kitchen’s minimalist ethos, creating a laid-back, sociable space. At the bar, creative cocktails are crafted to complement the punchy flavours of the food. With its innovative approach and lively setting, it’s no surprise that INKO NITO has become a favourite on London’s dining scene.

Robatayaki, which originated in Japan’s northern fishing villages, is at the heart of the menu. A charcoal grill brings a signature smokiness to everything from skewers like chicken yakitori brushed with smoked teriyaki sauce to roasted pork belly with soy kabosu. Additionally, don’t miss the spicy beef fillets served with INKO steak frites.

Seafood lovers are well catered for, with highlights including tiger prawns dressed in shiso wafu, salmon fillet with ruby grapefruit, miso-glazed black cod in ponzu, and a wide selection of fresh sashimi. Every dish is built around thoughtful, exciting flavour combinations.
