The latest addition to Fitzrovia's dazzling dining scene is this beautiful oasis. A natural wonder that fuses all the familiarity of a public house with the mesmerising botany of Agnes Arber, The Arber Garden is a tranquil and elegant corner of London you can call home.

A contemporary dining concept that places impeccable hospitality and British plates front and centre, The Arber Garden has created an indoor/outdoor space that encourages diners to breeze in at their leisure, taking their place amongst the floral prints, potted plants and dried flower arrangements in the botanical dining room. The urban Gin Garden, which calls the Fitzrovia Chapel its direct neighbour, will be open all year, shifting and changing with the seasons to offer stylish comfort and relaxation to its honourable diners.

This love and admiration of nature inform the menu too. Offering healthy, light and bold plates that perfectly satiate the appetite. Start with small plates that include British burrata, orange & toasted walnuts, heritage tomato & black olives, sourdough, basil or Arber fried chicken, chilli & lime. Move onto the mains where Arber Garden is a leader in contemporary British fare. Try the Cornish sea bass, tomatoes, capers, and dill sauce or from the josper grill, the Suffolk pork chop, and grilled Ruben apple. British produce really gets its moment in the spotlight.

As well as that, vegetarian options are adventurous and daring, playing with unlikely ingredients to remarkable effect. From the potato & macadamia cheese gnocchi, with courgettes and basil to the plant-based grilled tenderstem broccoli with chilli and almonds, prepare to rethink this most humble of dishes. Finally, water those roots with a fruity cocktail or G&T. You can always trust a botanist for the best mix in town.
