On Northumberland Avenue, 50 Kaló brings Italian craft to the capital.

The brief's clear: carefully chosen ingredients, patient technique and flavours that feel both time-honoured and fresh. From the first bite to the last slice, simplicity's the star.

Fritti set the tone: crocchè di patate, a yielding potato croquette with smoked provola cheese, and frittatina al ragù, an eggless pasta omelette filled with bucatini, bechamel sauce, minced beef, tomatoes, and green peas.

Next come the pizzas. A margherita balances tomato, mozzarella, and basil in easy harmony, while a diavola turns up the heat with spicy salami.

For a lighter option, there's caprese with mozzarella di bufala, tomatoes, and basil, or a Caesar salad with chicken breast and classic dressing. To round things off, enjoy tiramisu or cheesecake.

A straightforward, satisfying pizzeria experience awaits. Gather your favourites and settle in - when the crust calls, answer with gusto!
