On Drury lane, TOWN Restaurant brings a quietly confident, modern British sensibility to the table. Stevie Parle’s kitchen is anchored in regenerative farming and top-quality British ingredients, resulting in food that feels grounded, seasonal and deftly composed. Next door, TOWN Bar, guided by Kevin Armstrong, leans soothing yet sophisticated, where classic and original cocktails meet a discerning list of wines and refreshing beers.

The cooking reads like a love letter to the British landscape. Wine-cured Wildfarmed beef with Jerusalem artichoke, black garlic and shiitake speaks in savoury whispers, while Cornish cod crudo finds brightness in winter tomato, grapefruit and basil. Mains move from woodland pork with roasted quince, red cabbage and hot mustard to Shorthorn steak with green sauce and Town House gravy. Today’s cuts might include deckle, fillet, beef shin ragu or beef ossobuco, with comfort close at hand in beef fat Pink Fir potatoes and purple sprouting broccoli with anchovy and chili.

Begin with fried sage leaves glossed in heather honey and chili, or tear into potato sourdough to chase every last drop of Town House gravy. With a new wine lounge and private dining rooms on the horizon, TOWN is set to become even more of a destination. Book a spot, bring an appetite, and let TOWN do the talking after all, this is Central London with its sleeves deliciously rolled up.
