In Kingswood, Bristol, Eastern Spice is a cosy, family-run restaurant with more than two decades serving the Kingswood and St George community. Rooted in Bengali and Indian traditions, its kitchen is guided by authenticity, with time-honoured spices and masalas prepared by experienced chefs to coax depth, aroma and balance from every dish.

The cooking ranges from the lick of the tandoor on chicken tikka and paneer tikka to slow-simmered comforts such as butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. There are coastal notes in a lively Goan fish, a playful nod to Indo-Chinese cravings with manchurian chicken, and robust, spice-layered curries across bhuna, balti, korma and classic house gravies. For those drawn to charcoal and spice, Mongol chops deliver a savoury hit, while fragrant biryanis arrive billowing with steam.

Clean, friendly and inviting, the dining room is set for easy meals with loved ones, kept comfortable with air-conditioning and complemented by a selection of beers and wines. Settle in, share a few favourites and let conversation meander as the flavours build. Ready to explore Bengal and beyond without leaving Bristol? Book a table and let Eastern Spice add a little warmth to your evening, one spice at a time. decades.
