The Red Church

A place to eat, drink, dance and be merry, The Red Church is a venue that always has a surprise up its sleeve.

The name might mislead you into thinking that this venue is a renovation of a disused church, but Red Church actually occupies a beautiful Georgian-era building on a pretty street corner. 'Spacious' is an understatement. Thanks to sky-high ceilings, they have created a mezzanine effect that creates a wonderfully social, multi-levelled space that perfectly suits their regular DJ and concert evenings.

As for the food, they've made Italian cuisine their calling card. More specifically, they're recreating traditional pizzas with their own signature twist. First up are the red bases that are adorned with creamy fior di latte, fried aubergine, prosciutto, goat's cheese and, of course, heaps of fresh basil.

The white bases include a simple creation with cherry tomatoes, spinach and basil whilst the Fun Guy is every bit as spritely as his name suggests with squidgy taleggio, oyster mushrooms and truffle mayo; turns out Fun Guy is also a Decadent Guy! Finally, no Italian feast is complete without dolci, and tiramisu, panna cotta and gelato are helping you do a cheat day properly!
