In the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, Legends Bar & Grill is an ode to smoke, spice and the theatre of open fire.

Born of the Black Country’s desi pubs and classic evening plates, it takes the heat, the generosity and the joyful noise and gives them a space worth lingering in. Here, a charcoal grill, a sizzling tandoor and simmering curry pots work shoulder to shoulder.

Everything starts at the coals: lamb marinated overnight, chicken charred at the edges, breads hauled straight from the tandoor. The towering mixed grill steals the spotlight, meant for sharing and stacking, while pakora bring crunch and Indo-Chinese specials turn up the heat with sweet-sour swagger.

Bold, comforting curries range from creamy korma to a coastal Goan fish number, with wraps ready to roll for those who like their feast handheld. Inside, it's lively without being loud, all flicker and fragrance, with drinks adding a late-night lilt to the social hum. Plates sweep through the room in waves, designed for passing, pinching and second helpings.

Gather your crew, find your corner and let the flames do the talking. Book soon, come for the mixed grill, and stay because nobody wants to leave.
