Nestled in the heart of Faringdon, The Old Crown Coaching Inn is a timeless retreat with a heart.

Their team is passionate about creating memorable experiences for locals, providing a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the rich character of Faringdon while delivering high standards in food, drink, and accommodation. There's plenty to do in this charming coaching inn.

Find yourself in the pub, where traditional exposed beams, a roaring fire, and cosy candlelit tables provide the perfect setting to unwind. Try the menu, starting with Scottish scallops in XO sauce with puffed rice and charred spring onions, or the celeriac and apple soup with celeriac crisps and onion purée.

They showcase a range of simple yet fabulous mains like the poached chicken with a truffle boudin, topped with a chicken skin crumb, wild mushrooms, and leeks. Or, for a juicy and tender bite, the 12oz ribeye steak is a must-try, served with a side of triple-cooked chips and chimichurri sauce.
