BBuona in Oxford offers a delightful gastronomic experience rooted in the ancient Roman tradition of 'pinsa', highlighting an ambiance that reflects a deep respect for culinary heritage and authenticity. The restaurant boasts a casual yet culturally rich environment, accommodating breakfast, lunch, and dinner, complete with an Italian aperitivo experience featuring cocktails and authentic Italian beverages. BBuona's reputation as Oxford's top-rated establishment on TripAdvisor underscores its commitment to quality and tradition, celebrating Italian cuisine far beyond just pizza, in a setting that warmly welcomes every guest at all times of the day.

Indeed, it is the Italian art of Pinsa that takes centre stage at BBuona: the dough is masterfully concocted over a 48-hour fermentation process before being hand-stretched and expertly topped, then stone-baked to perfection. Designed to be lighter, crunchier and more easily digestible than its Neapolitan cousin, their Pinsa Romana has been created to delight even the most discerning of diners. The result? Delicate dough, crunchy exterior, airy and deliciously moist interior. Buonissimo!

Incredibly versatile, pinsa comes in endless, tantalising variations, both classic and experimental. Work your way through an array of expertly executed toppings wood-fired to perfection above the open oven; taste classics like Margherita, and Prosciutto e Funghi, or lose yourself in the new flavours of the BBuona Fantasy pinsa. Not-to-be-missed, this delightful platter of authentic Italian cured meats boasts burrata cheese, olives, and pinsa bread (so good it's practically worth the trip alone!"

There are also beautiful and light salads, antipasti, and classic secondi such as lasagna bolognese and parmigiana melanzane – think eggplants with tomato sauce and cheese. Match these delectable dishes from the extensive selection of white, red and rosé wines, or indulge in one of BBuona's renowned cocktail creations. The famous Aperol Spritz is just the beginning…so sit back, relax, and watch the experts at work.

NB Don't want to miss a moment of sunny Oxfordshire? Their outside dining area lets you catch some rays while enjoying the great menus, banishing any thoughts of wanting to be anywhere else.
