dinner

Few things inspire such heated debate as pasta – and First Table favourite 100% Pasta is here to see what all the fuss is about. Moving into the heart of Oxford city centre in early 2021, this traditional eatery uses knowledge, skill and the finest of ingredients to produce locally-central Italian dishes that are a great centrepiece for any get-together in the city.

Believers of the influence of classical tradition on dining, this colourful, cosy oasis of Italian life is headed up by two highly-skilled pasta enthusiasts who have seen plates wiped clean by inquisitive forks for years. Brimming with care and creativity, every dish rolled out from this kitchen is an experience; a true reflection of their skills and knowledge.

No 100% Pasta experience is ever the same. Ingredients that are in season locally take the starring roles in the dishes, with literally thousands of different pasta and sauce combinations for diners to choose from. Small Plates, featuring all the classics of Italian tradition, and distinctive Filled Pasta, such as Tortelloni alla 'Nduja – pasta filled with spicy sausage, are a testament to the sheer versatility that pasta provides.

Return customers to this haven of Italian excellence can confirm that their feet don't touch the floor in anticipation of the first bite, and this pasta-making hero uses time-honoured techniques to combine the very freshest of flavours into each dish. And what’s Italian for ‘group outing’?
