Situated on the canal at The Island Quarter, Binks Yard is a vibrant all-day destination where wood smoke meets a lively atmosphere. The open kitchen focuses on grilling, curing, and the distinct flavours of a wood-fired oven.

The menu transitions from light snacks to breads and skewers prepared over embers. Options include harissa lamb shoulder served in warm wood-fired bread with pickled red cabbage, or spiced butternut squash and feta drizzled with chilli honey.

Small plates feature whipped goat’s cheese paired with wood-roasted beetroot, pecans and apple dressing, alongside tiger prawns with pickled samphire. Heartier choices include pork schnitzel with hot mustard and steaks served with fresh chimichurri.

The expansive terrace hosts "Live at Binks," a programme featuring DJs and live performers on a dedicated stage. Boasting the largest outdoor screen in the East Midlands, this waterside spot is ideal for graduations or drinks at sunset.
