Lagan Indian Tapas is an Indian venue with a difference. Handed the baton by successful predecessor Mewar Haveli, this restaurant has already proven its worth with its location in Radcliffe on Trent. Now, the baton has been passed to Nottingham with an extension of the designed space on Wollaton Road.

The interior design of Lagan is something to marvel in itself. The hanging lights and intimate setting encourage an informal dining occasion with friends and family. The rich orange decor teamed with minimalistic wall art pays homage to the homeland, the ideal juxtaposition of modern and traditional.

Of course, menu choice is no easy task, but with a tapas arrangement to hand, indecisiveness can be anticipated. Meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans will all find sheer delight in the tantalising array of small dishes. Newcomers are advised to stick with the classics of chicken tikka and onion bhaji before sampling some coconut rice.

Suraj’s dream of opening his restaurant became a reality with the resounding success of Mewar Haveli in Radcliffe on Trent. Now, he brings his passion for exceptional Indian cuisine to Beeston and Nottingham City, delighting food lovers with a unique tapas experience. As an extension of Mewar Haveli, this restaurant upholds the same commitment to outstanding customer service and unparalleled food quality, ensuring every visit is unforgettable.
