Perched in Nottingham City Centre, Cuckoo Grill is a vibrant roost for chargrilled chicken. The kitchen brines its birds in-house for 24 hours before marinating them in bold flavours and finishing them on the grill for tender meat with an irresistible char.

From full or half chicken to double joint wings and mini fillets, the kitchen’s handiwork shines across the menu. For handhelds, a sourdough pitta cradles marinated grilled chicken breast or halloumi with baby gem lettuce, Swiss cheese, tomato, red onion and lemon and herb mayo. At the same time, a gourmet burger brings that flame-kissed character between buns.

On the side, expect scratch-made, double-fried skin-on fries with Cajun or Mediterranean twists to keep things lively.

Beyond the plate, the welcome is part of the draw. Testimonials praise a friendly atmosphere and owners who personally engage with guests, setting a warm, easygoing tone. Meals are served swiftly and enthusiastically - the energy upbeat without ever feeling rushed.

Craving bold, grilled comfort in the heart of the city? Make a beeline for Cuckoo Grill and let the good times cluck!
