Bar Gigi Ristorante combines the rich history of a 15th-century Tudor building with modern Italian culinary practices in the heart of Nottingham. This picturesque setting features a thoughtful renovation that preserves the charm of the original architecture while presenting a contemporary dining space, including an on-site boutique and wine cellar. The restaurant emphasises a sharing-style menu with fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from Italy and local producers, perfectly suited for social dining in a vibrant yet historically rich atmosphere.

Authenticity is paramount at Bar Gigi Ristorante, where seasonal food takes centre stage. Couples and groups are encouraged to choose an array of plates and sample a little of everything, beginning with starters that include tender braised beef shin "nuggets" and succulent scallops topped with 'nduja butter and Jerusalem artichoke puree. All fresh pasta is made in-house and comes in vegetarian options such as gnocchi with honey and sage-infused crema, or agnolotti stuffed with wild garlic and ricotta served in rosemary brown butter. Main courses take inspiration from coastal Italy, starring baked sea bream with potato and pecorino verde sauce, and a classic fillet steak served alongside smoked celeriac puree and roasted shallot. To round off the experience, choose from a range of sides including indulgent parmesan pillows and zucchini fritti.

Bar Gigi Ristorante is the ideal destination for couples and groups seeking well-executed Italian cuisine and a historic atmosphere. Step into the world of Gigi Bottega and sample modern Italian cooking at its finest.
