Gurkha Express brings the comforting flavours of the Indian subcontinent to Beeston.
With a name that nods to Nepalese heritage and a menu rooted in much-loved North Indian traditions, i is the kind of place where spice is treated with finesse, warmth is a given, and familiar dishes arrive with an assured, well-seasoned hand.

Starters set the tone: onion bhaji come crisp and feather-light, while hot, flaky samosas promise that golden balance of spice and crunch. From the tandoor, malai tikka and chicken tikka offer tender bites touched by smoke, their gentle marinades of yogurt and spice revealing depth without bluster. It is a confident opening act that hints at comforts to come.

Sharing finds its stride in the paneer tikka platter and chicken tikka platter, designed for passing around the table and comparing favourite morsels. Then the mains step forward with creamy calm: gurkha chicken cloaked in a masala sauce, and butter chicken rich with tomatoes and cashew, both delivering that soothing, rounded finish that lingers well after the last scoop.

Expect an easy-going, share-friendly experience that suits weeknight suppers and unhurried catch-ups alike. Gather your crew, bring an appetite, and let Gurkha Express do what it does best.
