Authentic Italian food in a communal and contemporary setting, The Italian Room's objective is pretty clear: to bring Italy to Bamford.

Bring your extended family, invite the friendly stranger you met next week - everyone's welcome over here. Completely unpretentious and simply down to have a good time with great food, The Italian Room has read the minds of the local dining community and has provided a space that is equally as perfect for a quick Wednesday supper as it is for a weekend treat.

Rustic flavours are at the heart of their menu, meaning that you can dive right in from the word 'go'. The starters are worth the time as you can graze on spare ribs, prawn bruschetta and mozzarella caprese before you've even got to the main event. Then you'll be in fine shape for any of their homemade pastas, be that tagliolini, penne or spaghetti paired with your favourite familiar sauces.

Of course, you can always bank on there being more than enough slices to go around; traditional pizza toppings come out on top over modern inventions for a real taste of Italy. The same can be said of the veal, chicken and steak dishes which seem to take inspiration from grandma's cookbook. Well, if it ain't broke...
