Is it a brewery inside a Bundobust? Is it a Bundobust inside a brewery? Is it a combination Bundobust Brewery? That’s it, the last one.
A casual, open-plan taproom lined with communal, beer hall-style seating throughout, and home to tanks of Bundobust Brewery beers brewed and served right under the same glass atrium ceiling.
Minutes walk from the Palace Theatre, O2 Ritz, Manchester Central Convention Complex and more - making it ideal for pre-theatre, pre-gig, or post-convention feasts.
Bundobust started life as a pop-up in Bradford between the legendary Prashad and one of Yorkshire’s first Craft Beer bar The Sparrow, Bundobust has been pairing vibrant and legitimate Indian food with modern, forward-thinking craft beer to the north for over a decade - Introducing modern takes on traditional Indian favourites like chaat, vada pav, bhel, and dhal to new generations of fans.
After building a loyal fan base through appearances at street food and beer festivals, Bundo’s first bricks and mortar venue opened in Leeds in 2014, followed by Manchester Piccadilly in 2016 - hitting the ground running and receiving a glowing Jay Rayner review in its first 3 months.
With beer being so fundamental to Bundo’s origins, operating a Bundobust Brewery was always a pipe dream which became a reality in 2021. Taking over a former car park on Manchester’s Oxford Street, the now award-winning Bundobust Brewery houses a 10 hectolitre brew kit, taproom, and a 150 seater restaurant - brewing beers only available in Bundobust, and designed to pair perfectly with their dishes.
Across 4 sites and 3 cities, each Bundobust shares a distinctive lively, casual atmosphere inspired by street food canteens, European beer halls, and modern US tap rooms, with vast communal tables perfect for sharing spreads of modern, game-changing Indian street food, craft beer, and kitchen-led cocktails.
