Schnitzel Heaven has become a beloved East London refuge for classic comfort food with a modern twist.

The name says it all: crisp, golden schnitzels arrive in generous proportions, cooked with care and high-quality ingredients. It is the kind of place where the first bite crunches, the lemon squeezes bright, and appetites are treated with respect.

Before the main event, there is comfort in small plates: homemade falafel on houmous, glossy with olive oil, or panko-coated crispy squid rings with a squeeze of lime. Sauces and mustards are more than an afterthought, from tartare and horseradish to heated options like a creamy mushroom sauce, all primed for generous dunking.

The stars of the show: chicken schnitzel with butter and lemon satisfy purists, while Austrian veal schnitzel offers old-world elegance. For the adventurous, the katsu schnitzel brings basmati rice and kimchi to the table, and the Vienna supreme schnitzel marries veal, pork, and chicken for a hearty crescendo. Toppings and sides span classic parsley-lifted freshness and bolder, contemporary flourishes.

With portions that don't hold back, and an atmosphere perfect for relaxed lunches and breezy, post-work dinners, Schnitzel Heaven earned the title of a local classic. So, ready yourself for a plate that means business, pull up a chair, and let the crunch do the talking.
