Slurp Thai champions the soul-warming comforts of Thailand on Spitalfields’ lively dining map through bright, balanced and bold flavours. The kitchen leans into the irresistible quartet of sweet, sour, salty and spicy, letting fish sauce, lime and chilli lead the conversation.

Begin the meal with Zabb chicken wings coated in a special spice blend and tempered by sweet chilli. The beloved som tum provides crunch and zest, featuring shredded green papaya tumbled with dried shrimp, peanuts, fish sauce, lime and a kick of chilli.

Noodle soups follow, including the ingredient-rich sen su kho Thai and the house speciality, pink brun fa, which threads pork and seafood through a savoury broth. Wok-fired pad see ew delivers thick flat rice noodles with soy and egg, while a mellow Massaman curry offers gentle warmth.

Mango coconut sticky rice or Thai custard provides a sweet conclusion, proving that simplicity often works best. Book a table soon, bring an appetite and prepare to slurp in style.
