Set within a handsome period building in St James, Jul's brings to Central London a luxurious dining room of lofty ceilings and quiet glamour. Conceived as a hedonistic destination, it balances heritage and innovation, drawing diners into an elevated gastronomical journey with an atmosphere to match.

The cooking speaks with a Mediterranean accent and a cosmopolitan lilt. Warm spiced Kalamata olives pave the way for sea-bright ideas like Athinaiki fish salad with peas, celery, green apple and basil mayo, or bluefin tartare lifted by blood orange ponzu, raspberry and beet sorbet.

From the land come rich comforts: beef tartare on marrow milk bread with caviar and truffle, alongside slow-cooked lamb served with flatbread, red onion jam, yoghurt and dry mizithra. Signature mains range from lobster risotto laced with espresso butter to spicy king crab tagliolini finished with mint harissa and pineapple chutney.

In the glass, thoughtful non-alcoholic pours like Arcadian Fizz and Pluma offer refreshing, artisanal pairings designed to complement every flavour.

To finish, dessert might be baklava with ice cream and pistachio crèmeux, or yoghurt and olive ice cream with burnt honey toffee.

Settle in and let the experience unfold at its own pace - reserve a table and give in to a little well-placed hedonism!
