In Liverpool city centre, 8 Water Street Mediterranean Grill has been turning heads since January 2023. This vibrant spot blends the sunlit spirit of the Mediterranean with the city’s knack for a good time, promising bold flavours, live entertainment, and an easy confidence that suits date nights and intimate dinners in equal measure.

The kitchen leans into flame and freshness. meze sets the tone with silky hummus and cooling cacik, while hot plates bring a kick of spice with sucuk and the seaside snap of calamari. From the charcoal grill come smoky lamb chops and a daily catch cooked over the coals, while mains range from chicken piccata, bright with lemon butter and capers, to seabass with garlic potatoes and beurre blanc. Turkish favourites, including ali nazik and iskender, sit alongside pizzas such as margherita and traditional funghi, with sweet endings like baklava and a slice of fudge cake for good measure.

It’s an Instagrammable venue where good food meets great vibes, buoyed by midweek offers and monthly live entertainment. The mood is lively yet relaxed - a place built for lingering over a variety of dishes and stories.

Make it a long lunch for two or a leisurely evening feast with the crew. Book a table, follow the charcoal and the chatter, and let 8 Water Street add a little Mediterranean sunshine to Liverpool’s night!
