Prezzo Italian Leicester Meridian brings a warm and inviting slice of Italy to Meridian, Leicester. In a cosy yet vibrant dining room, it serves authentic Italian dishes made with seasonal, fresh ingredients, crafted by passionate chefs. It is the sort of place that flexes effortlessly between a relaxed midweek meet-up and a special-occasion supper with the family.

Flavours lean classic and comforting with a contemporary polish. Guests might open with mixed olives or tear into warm focaccia dipped in olive oil and balsamic, before sharing garlic bread or a tomato bruschetta crowned with cherry tomatoes, red onion and a balsamic glaze.

From there, the kitchen moves through Italy’s greatest hits: the margherita keeps things beautifully simple with tomato, mozzarella and basil, while pepperoni brings a bolder bite. Pasta has equal pull, whether a silky spaghetti carbonara with pancetta and egg, a lively arrabbiata, or delicate ravioli filled with mushroom and spinach in a creamy garlic and herb sauce. Those in the mood for something different can look to the grill, from The Prezzo Burger to a crisp Chicken Milanese Burger, with sides that range from house fries to cheese fries laced with chilli and garlic.

Round things off with a spoonful of tiramisu or a generous slice of hot chocolate fudge cake, then linger over an espresso or cappuccino. Ready to make a meal of it? Gather your favourites, and let the good times roll all’italiana.
