The lush rice paddies and rainforests of Kerala are calling! Yes, we might be in Bristol, but Krishna's Inn dares us to take the culinary adventure of a lifetime.

Kerala, India's tropical headliner, is a far cry from England's drizzly south west. Renowned for its palm-lined beaches, sloping tea plantations and incredible wildlife, it is a state like no other. And Krishna's Inn is inviting you to explore this state through your tastebuds. Traditionally prepared and served on banana leaves and in Indian food trays, this is the real deal when it comes to authentic dining. Their mellow, elegant dining hall also promises comfort of the highest order in which to truly live the Keralan experience.

India's a big place, which means that Keralan cuisine is different to the kind of food you would find in India's Golden Triangle. Perhaps the thing the area is most famous for is dosas. This regional specialty fills crispy crepes with tantalisingly spiced fillings, from prawn masala to marinated paneer and ghee. Other starters include cashew nut pakoras, potato bonda and idli, a steamed rice cake served with sambar and chutney.

The main courses delve into southern curries like Kerala fish, chochin prawn, mutton curry, king prawn masala and a delightful mussel curry paired with tomato, onion and green chilli. You can also find familiar favourites like butter chicken, chicken madras and lamb bhuna if you prefer to play it safe. And with so many different rice and breads to choose from, the flavour combinations are simply endless. And that's just from one corner of India!
