Pizza on the Park is an independent Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Clifton, proudly serving the Bristol community for over four years. What started as a neighbourhood favourite has grown into one of the city’s best-loved pizza spots — now rated No.1 on Tripadvisor for pizza in Bristol.

At the heart of what we do is our dough. Head Chef Carlo’s journey began in Sicily, where he studied fermentation and traditional bread-making techniques, working with ancient grains and experimenting with starters and sourdough. Carlo went on to train under master Neapolitan pizzaiolos, refining his signature dough recipe over fifteen years.

Today, we make our dough fresh every day using the Biga method: a traditional Italian pre-fermentation that creates a lighter, crispier base with deeper flavour, and makes it easier to digest.

Our menus celebrate the regional flavours of Italy, with a particular nod to the freshness and simplicity of Sicilian cooking, from Neapolitan-style pizzas to classic pasta dishes and Mediterranean-inspired small plates. And while our flavours may span the globe, our ingredients stay close to home. We work with trusted suppliers across the West of England, championing seasonal, sustainable produce that tastes as good as it feels.
