Cow & Oak reopened in summer 2018, breathing fresh life into a once much‑loved 1930s pub with its iconic green roof.

Set in Worthing, it blends the soul of a traditional local with a contemporary edge: think Sunday roasts by the fire and a south‑facing terrace made for long, lazy afternoons with a platter and lovely company.

In the kitchen, comfort meets craft. Small plates might begin with oven-baked camembert drizzled with honey and rosemary, or crisp, salt and pepper squid with garlic mayo and grilled lime. From there, the mood turns indulgent: dirty fries piled high with barbecue pulled pork or crispy korean chicken,

Burgers arrive stacked and satisfying, from a cheeseburger layered with Monterey jack and red Leicester to a korean chicken number.

Vegan choices abound including no fish & chips and a vegan chicken burger.
