An art deco-inspired neighbourhood restaurant and late-night bar, Third Avenue is this summer's place to be, brunching long and dancing until the early hours.
Tucked in a vibrant street in Brighton and Hove, Third Avenue is luckily a short walk from Hove train station, so you'll never have too far to stumble. Don't run, you'll be missing out on the impressive decor before you even reach the restaurant. A glossy teal interior with art deco highlights unfolds to reveal a gentle, dimly lit dining area. Low-hanging industrial lampshades scatter gentle pockets of light over the booths; an atmosphere akin to a grown-up carnival of indulgence.
Look that little bit further and you'll notice a cosy, heated terrace too, tucked with vintage armchairs and fun patterned walls. Who's best to enjoy a day outing with a local gem when the sun is shining in Beantown? But that's not all. How about a secret speakeasy nightclub tucked away below for a post-dinner party with pineapple daiquiris guaranteed to fulfil your tropical dreams (Monday-Friday only, I'm afraid). Their PJ party is gaining outstanding reviews.
Their food menu evokes a rich and meaningful infusion of Eastern and Mediterranean, unique and elegant. On the third page of their menu give you their specials; blackened chargrilled chicken is a mouthwatering option. Don't ignore the side dishes. They have the classics, and with their famous truffle parmesan fries, you'll die for them.
Tasty dishes combined with unmatchable style and taste the cocktails and the friendly atmosphese will have you shaking on your bartender's next visit. You'll never wanna leave.
