Intimately tucked away amongst the rock shop-lined lanes at the heart of Britain’s beloved beachside city resides Brighton’s delicious little secret, Kai Café and Bar. Decked in dainty trinkets and kooky knick-knacks, its snug wooden interiors and chilled-out ambience are just what you need for a top-class time with great friends and family.

Allow your grazing session to get off to a flying start with one of Kai’s most popular starters, the hot butter cuttlefish; a delightful dish of fresh cuttlefish cooked in the restaurant’s signature hot butter sauce. If you’re a sucker for a spicy starter, though, you’ll love the moreish BBQ chicken wings, coated knee-deep in Kai’s rich, flame-grilled barbecue sauce.

For the main course, diners can enjoy a heartfelt hug of a dish with the mild Sri Lankan dhal curry, lentils cooked with creamy coconut milk, or embrace the devilish delight of crispy chilli chicken. Every plate is prepared with care and flair by the expert Kai chefs, ensuring a dining experience to savour.

With its snug wooden interiors, playful décor, and a menu made for sharing, Kai Café and Bar is the kind of place where laughter lingers as long as the last bite. Every visit promises a cosy escape and a taste adventure you’ll want to come back for.
