Namo blends the flavours of Thailand with the spirit of Brighton. What began in 2020 as a home kitchen project during lockdown has grown into a much-loved local spot. From those early days of sharing honest Thai food, Namo has carried forward a sense of warmth, connection and character.
The menu celebrates freshness and balance. To share, there is sai ua, a northern Thai pork sausage scented with lime leaf and galangal. Salads bring brightness to the table, especially somtum kohlrabi, a lively mix of kohlrabi or turnip with mango, dried shrimp, peanut, tamarind and chilli.
For mains, gai tod hat yai delivers southern fried chicken topped with shallots and chilli jam, while kardook moo yang offers grilled pork ribs glazed in a sticky, savoury sauce. From the sea, boo nim features soft shell crab in curry sauce, and muek grob pairs fried squid with larb spice seasoning for a punchy finish.
Now based at The Eagle Pub, Namo has become a place where Thai heritage meets Brighton energy. Every dish carries a piece of its journey, thoughtful, vibrant and made to be shared.
