dinner

In the heart of Westbourne, Bournemouth, Westbourne Tandoori extends a warm welcome to an award-winning fusion of Bangladeshi, Indian and wider Asian cooking. Working with the finest ingredients, the kitchen draws together beloved traditions and contemporary ideas to create a menu that feels both timeless and fresh. It is a place where excellent food meets genuine hospitality, and where curiosity is rewarded at every course.

Flavours travel from the smoky tandoor to the slow-simmered pot: think tandoori chicken arriving sizzling, a rogan josh rich with pimento, garlic and tomato garnish, or a madras that carries the sunlit heat of the south. Creamy passanda dishes offer silk-smooth comfort, while balti dishes bring punchy spice from the iron wok. Vegetarian pleasures appear in sag paneer and Bombay potatoes, ready to be scooped with warm nan or garlic nan, alongside fragrant biryani, keema rice and pilau rice with saffron.

The dining room is cosy and fully air-conditioned, a relaxed setting where the team is known for guiding guests to try something new. Let the waiters suggest a progression of plates and discover the full sweep of flavours, from delicate to daring. Book a table, settle in, and let Westbourne Tandoori spice up the evening in the most delicious way.
