dinner

In Shirley, Southampton, Taste of India specialises in freshly prepared Indian cooking made for life on the go.

Think bold spices, rich sauces and the kind of comforting heat that travels beautifully, ready to unfold at your kitchen table. Whether it is a quick lunch, a family dinner or a feast with friends, this is homestyle flavour with restaurant polish.

Here, they offer time-honoured techniques that layer aromatics and toasting spices for depth, balanced with freshness and lift. Expect creamy lamb nawabi in a rich cashew sauce to fiery pieces of lamb jalfrezi stir-fried with peppers.

Follow these up with crisp, freshly baked Indian breads like naan brushed with a generous helping of butter or naan infused with a flavourful mix of coconuts, raisins and nuts. Perfect to scoop up those rich, aromatic sauces.

Geared towards takeaway, the experience is swift and unfussy, built for modern schedules without skimping on freshness. Bring the appetite, and let Taste of India bring the spice.
