Prepare to get a taste of Sri Lankan family hospitality with a visit to The Coconut Tree. It may be confusing, but this tranquil chill oasis is, in fact, situated in the bustling heart of Oxford!

The team behind this funky spot is on a mission to share a true taste of Sri Lanka. They've teamed traditional recipes with fresh ingredients to create a menu full of family favourites and flavours you'll only find in a Sri Lankan kitchen. It's all served in a laid-back setting where comfort is king.

Small, tapas-sized plates are perfect for sharing and eating with your hands. It's all part of the Coconut Tree experience, from Colombo-fried cheese cubes to stir-fried chickpeas.

Create your dream combo of vegan dishes like tender squash cooked in coconut cream or seafood dishes like king prawns in a spicy, sticky sauce alongside wok-fried rice. Don't leave without trying the kotthu, a staple in Sri Lankan street food made with chopped roti and meat or veg.

Please don't forget that this venue is cash only. Here, the freshest ingredients are chopped and very quickly stirred up with your selection.
