Tucked into Nottingham City Centre, Taste Italian is a 22-seat bistro that distils the essence of Italy into an intimate, personal dining room. Family-run and guided by recipes rooted in Puglia, it brings a quietly confident authenticity to the table, where tradition is treated with care and hospitality is part of the craft.

In the kitchen, handmade pasta takes centre stage, with dishes shaped by southern Italian sensibilities and time-honoured methods. The cooking speaks in warm, honest flavours, the kind that tell a story from one generation to the next, inviting guests to slow down and savour what is in front of them rather than rush to what is next.

The mood matches the menu: cosy and unpretentious, ideal for intimate dinners, private events and special occasions that call for genuine charm. A considered pour of exclusive Italian wines and beers sets the tone, while a final Illy Coffee ties a neat bow on the experience.

Settle in for an evening that feels personal and unrushed. Book a seat, raise a glass, and let Nottingham taste a touch more Italian—one twirl of handmade pasta at a time.
