South American food is bold and beautiful, which is why Peru Perdu has made it its mission to create an immersive setting in which to enjoy this most vibrant of cuisines in central Manchester.
Peru Perdu is a kaleidoscope of pink with multiple shades bringing out its signature fun-loving spirit. The restaurant enjoys a living room layout that provides groups with pink cubby holes to enjoy uninterrupted quality time, laid-back sofas in which to fully recline and regular tables for couples and groups. The most impressive aspect of Peru Perdu is its lighting design; a mixture of pink strip lighting, cosy lanterns and stand-alone lamps, each area has its own distinct personality.
As you probably know, South Americans take their meat very seriously, which is good news for anyone celebrating steak night. Local beef provides the basis of chorizo sirloin, ancho ribeye and lomo petit fillet, all of which can be customised with additions and sauces. You could also add a side of roasted heritage beets to a green papaya salad for a fresh undertone.
Other main courses also side with marinated meats for the pollo asado and the giant red prawns that are anointed with garlic oil and chimi sauce and chips - consider this a huge step up from fish and chips! And even though you might be undergoing somewhat of a food coma, there's always room for chocolate-dipped churros and a cheeky Argentinian red.
