There’s nothing quite like a restaurant that promises bold flavours and delivers on every front. That’s why Dhoompan, a street food restaurant in the heart of Tooting Bec, has curated a carefully chosen menu of mouth-watering dishes that truly live up to expectations.

Step inside this small yet perfectly formed Bangladeshi gem, and you’ll be greeted by the warmth of Tooting Bec and the fiery energy of Dhoompan’s tandoor kitchen, where chefs skilfully craft the fragrant dishes that have earned the restaurant its fame. Regulars and newcomers alike rave about every dish on the menu, with favourites such as Tandoor King Chicken and Lamb skewers— beautifully charred and served with home-pickled red onions, zesty chillies. Add some raita to cool down.
Another standout is the signature 'Bengali brisket keema naan', featuring 12-hour smoked beef brisket, shredded and infused with aromatic spices, then generously packed into a warm tandoor naan.

For a perfect start, the snack menu at Dhoompan is not to be missed. Fuchka is a must! Chot poti will give you that warm hug you need & be sure to try the far far—sweet, fried wheat crackers, a beloved Bengali treat that’s impossible to resist.

And don’t forget to leave room for dessert. Dhoompan’s traditional gulab jam, syrup-soaked dough balls, offer the perfect sweet finish. This Tooting Bec kitchen brings the vibrant flavours of Bangladesh straight to the streets of SW17.

An alcohol-free establishment — but don’t worry, you’ll still have plenty of choice! From 0% Cobra and Kingfisher to Kopparberg ciders and our signature mocktails, Dhoompan has got the perfect drink to go with your meal.
