PizzaExpress Bankside brings a relaxed yet stylish energy to South East London, blending modern comfort with the gentle theatre of an open kitchen. Soft lighting, a lively buzz and genuinely attentive service set the scene for meals that feel easy-going and unhurried. It is a place equally suited to a family outing, a date night or a catch-up with friends.

The menu takes its cues from Italy, with thin, crisp pizzas crafted for both purists and the adventurous. Classics such as the Margherita, American Hot and Padana sit alongside contemporary creations like Duo Romana and the BBQ Burnt Ends pizza. Beyond pizza, hearty dishes from Pollo Pesto to Lasagna Classica provide comforting depth, while small plates of marinated green olives, slow-roasted tomatoes, buffalo chicken wings and Cajun prawns add playful touches. Fresh salads and simple sides keep things balanced, and decadent desserts offer a sweet finish.

Raise a glass to cocktails such as the Soho Spritz and Passion Fruit Martini, or enjoy a well-chosen red wine. Watch the chefs at work, settle in, and let each bite speak for itself. Book a table, bring good company and let Bankside’s flavours guide you to the perfect slice.
