dinner

Heath Street Kitchen is a neighbourhood favourite with a quietly confident touch.

The room is cosy and artistic, its walls dressed with striking artwork and its tables hosted with easy warmth. Seasonal cooking sets the pace here: fresh, well-sourced ingredients, prepared with care, and served in a relaxed, welcoming style that suits both impromptu lunches and unhurried suppers.

The cooking leans modern and comforting, with bright global accents. Small plates invite sharing: think Korean fried chicken glossed with sriracha and sesame, or seared scallops lifted by spiced sour cream and lime.

From there, classics are handled with restraint and flavour in mind, from spaghetti aglio e olio threaded with courgette, chilli and garlic to a creamy pumpkin and miso orzo risotto topped with toasted cashew nuts.

For steak lovers, a sirloin steak taglita arrives with olive oil, lemon, Parmesan and pine nuts, while a ribeye is enriched by cowboy butter. Rosemary salted fries, and halloumi chips with sriracha mayonnaise keep convivial company.

Make a date with Hampstead’s easy-going side and let comfort take the lead.
