Sahara brings a warm slice of Lebanese hospitality to St John’s Wood, its elegant, authentic decor aglow with soft lighting. The room hums with convivial energy as the scent of freshly baked bread and grilled meats drifts from the kitchen, setting the tone for leisurely, sociable dining.

The menu leans into the spirit of sharing with vibrant meze. Silky hommos and bright tabbouleh lead to hot plates such as crisp-edged kibbeh mekliya and spiced soujouk, each delivering layered flavours and pleasing textures.

Fresh, zesty salads like fattoush keep things light, while comforting bowls of lentil soup or chicken soup speak to the cuisine’s heartwarming soul.

Following the starters, generous mixed grills and tender shawarma take centre stage, echoing those initial smoky aromas. To finish, classic treats and fragrant Lebanese pastries offer the perfect sweet ending.

Welcoming, easy-going and quietly polished, Sahara's is made for unhurried catch-ups and celebratory feasts alike. Gather your favourites, settle in, and let the meze do the mingling - one delicious dip at a time.
